Georgios Demetriades is the founder of the Hiranya Mandala School of Yoga Integration and Meditation. He has practiced and taught Yoga since 2008 and 2011, respectively. He teaches the complimentary practices of classical Hatha Yoga and Raja Yoga.
In 2019, inspired by the life and teachings of his gurudeva Paramhansa Yogananda Giri, the patron saint of the school, Georgios actuated the Hiranya Mandala School of Yoga Integration and Meditation. He developed a complete visual system and identity for the school which was effected in 2020. Georgios researches, develops and designs all of the school's instructional collateral.
In addition, Georgios also teaches and studies Sanskrta grammar (vyakarana), and integrates the subject into the school's curriculum. He believes that a systematic study of the Sanskrta language is vital for further studies and comprehension of the Indian scientific, philosophical and scriptural teachings.
His vision is to unite the "best" of the teachings of the Hindu sages; creating an approach to Yoga that results in the integration of the body, mind and soul; and that promotes the elevation of human consciousness. He follows the Kriya Yoga approach of Paramhansa Yogananda Giri.
